Kirkwood Green and the City of Kirkwood, Missouri are paving the way for alternative energy to be readily available for use. The City of Kirkwood has signed a power contract with Kirkwood Green, LLC, a new Missouri company dedicated to the generation of green, renewable energy.

Kirkwood Green is in its final stages of developing power generation technology that can produce electricity from renewable resources. Kirkwood Green has patented its technology and verified low emissions on such fuels as wood chips, animal waste and trash. This technology has eliminated the need for fossil fuel burning energy. The City of Kirkwood wanted to be the first municipality to make the leap with this technology by providing green renewable energy for its city. With Kirkwood Green’s technology and the City of Kirkwood’s environmentally progressive attitude this contract redefines power generation.

Kirkwood Green will set up its system in the City of Kirkwood and will be generating electricity into the grid. Together, the City of Kirkwood, Missouri and Kirkwood Green, have become a leader in green energy.

Kirkwood Green, LLC was established in 2008 with the purpose of producing green, renewable energy in the City of Kirkwood, Missouri.
